A guided form of meditative self-enquiry, from the teachings of yoga and Tantra.
We engage with the practice of Yoga Nidra for many reasons – deep relaxation, to reduce stress, to aid sleep, to solve personal problems and help to resolve trauma.
As well as being deeply relaxing the practice, usually taken in a resting position, helps us be with the totality of our human experience. The bedrock of the practice is the understanding that when we can move beyond our conditioned mind and limited self-beliefs we realise our own True Nature which is spacious, unrestricted, without judgement and always present. With the practice we discover we don’t need to acquire True Nature because it is already present and we learn how to unveil it and live a happier and more joyful life.
This practice can be taken as a group open class or on a one to one basis. If you are working through trauma, stress or pain and would like more information on how Yoga Nidra can support you please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
