Ali is an experienced and pragmatic teacher helping students to skilfully navigate the physical and emotional body.   Her teachings guide and support individuals to be aware of and then listen to the sensory pulsations and vibrations of the body in order that movement is intuitive and purposeful.

As well as teaching privately and in Yoga studios,  Ali also works on projects with vulnerable individuals and groups.  Most recently she has spent a year working in women’s refuges delivering the Wellbeing for Women project.

She is greatly influenced and inspired by the teachings of Tias Little [Prajna Yoga] and Richard Miller [iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation] with whom she continues to study.

Yoga found me over 25 years ago and what a journey it has been.  Being an ex Military Policewoman, a keen runner and PA to celebs I  arrived at that first class thinking ‘what can this teach me?”   I soon found out and was hooked.   At first it was all about the physical [the asana] and then I met myself, all of me – the dark and the light – and so the real pilgrimage has begun and is still a work in progress!

Put simply “yoga has enabled me to live a life that I didn’t think possible”.
